That is a link to a time capsule. Some people in France said they will send a satellite into orbit about 1800km above the Earth with enough memory to hold about 4 pages of text from everyone on Earth. The satellite will act as a time capsule, and will return to Earth in 50,000 years, so that whoever is on Earth at the time can read it.
I will send a message, will you?

Click the above logo for an alternative comic I draw. The character says TOTALLY RANDOM tihngs. It's pretty minimalist/postmodernist, and very sick and twisted. The humor is very subtle and dry, often working on multiple levels. There's currently 340 strips. Hope you enjoy!

I want to hear the best bull shitted answer to one of these:
Where do the names of the elements come from (e.g. Helium, Hydrogen)?
Why did King Henry VIII have 8 wives?
Why do hotdogs come in packages of 10 but, hotdog rolls come in packages of 8?
Where does the number e come from?
How did the invention of the belt come about?
(I gave a bunch of questions on different disciplines so that you may harness your bull shitting skills to their fullest. I wanna hear good answers!)

ready to kill
READY TO KILL by Carl Sandburg
Ten minutes now I have been looking at this.
I have gone by here before and wondered about it.
This is a bronze memorial of a famous general
Riding horseback with a flag and a sword and a revolver on him.
I want to smash the whole thing into a pile of junk to be hauled away to the scrap yard.
I put it straight to you,
After the farmer, the miner, the shop man, the factory hand, the fireman and the teamster,
Have all been remembered with bronze memorials,
Shaping them on the job of getting all of us
Something to eat and something to wear,
When they stack a few silhouettes
Against the sky
Here in the park,
And show the real huskies that are doing the work of the world, and feeding people instead of butchering them,
Then maybe I will stand here
And look easy at this general of the army holding a flag in the air,
And riding like hell on horseback
Ready to kill anybody that gets in his way,
Ready to run the red blood and slush the bowels of men all over the sweet new grass of the prairie.

Heavens to Mergatroid!!
I was thinking where did phrases like these come from.....what are their meanings:
"Heavens to Mergatroid!"
If anyone knows anything, let me know.
If you can think of some more funny phrases like that, post them too :-D
